Carols at Myton Hospice

Categories: School News

Last Tuesday Warwick Preparatory School Handbell group and the senior choir went along to nearby Myton Hospice to sing carols and play their handbells. A small group of adults, including Mrs Fairhurst, Mrs Emmerson, Mr Turner and a school governor, Mr Higton, sang the adult parts. Carols included Silent Night and Good King Wenceslas. The Handbell group played O Little Town of Bethleham and Little Donkey.

The residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed the visit and kindly provided tea, squash and biscuits afterwards.

As usual, retiring collections at the various Christmas festivities at Warwick Prep are being donated to Myton Hospice.
