PSDP

The Personal Skills Development Portfolio (PSDP) is a bespoke, skills focused programme created by Warwick Prep, for Warwick Prep girls in Year 6. It allows the girls to develop skills outside the traditional school curriculum and gives them the opportunity to complete a series of compulsory and optional modules created by Heads of Department across all areas of the curriculum.

Each module has been carefully designed to allow the girls to develop skills in six key areas:

  • Organisation
  • Communication
  • Teamwork
  • Self-Belief
  • Citizenship and Life Skills
  • Taking Responsibility

A key part of the PSDP is allowing the girls to take responsibility for managing their time and meeting the deadlines set - a valuable skill for secondary school and further education.

The girls, supported by their Form Teacher and other members of Warwick Prep staff throughout, will find this a rewarding and valuable experience. At the end of the programme, the girls’ progress and achievements will be acknowledged with a personalised certificate at their leavers’ ceremony.
