Geography
Geography is taught as an enquiry based subject through the study of areas familiar to the children, and sharply contrasting areas within Europe and the wider world. Observation, collection, organisation, recording and retrieval of information are all practiced. There is an emphasis on field work and in their final year girls spend a week at a residential field study centre. Here through first hand experience, they develop a greater understanding of a responsibility towards the environment.
