Religious Education
The curriculum is based on Christian beliefs and principles but also contains elements from other major religions, giving an introduction to our multi-faith community. The children celebrate festivals, handle artefacts with respect, discuss and reflect upon moral and religious issues and aim to develop a true sense of personal and social values. They are encouraged to gain respect for other religions, races and ways of life. Daily acts of worship, with hymns and prayers, are held throughout the school and have either a religious or moral theme.
