Children in Need - half term art competition & crazy hair!

All pupils are invited to draw a friend for Pudsey Bear. Mrs Hemming will be judging the competition and selecting a winner in each year group. Please ensure that all entries have your child’s name and form clearly marked on the back and return them to school by Friday 6 November, in a sealed envelope, including £1.00 entrance fee. All the money will be donated to Children in Need, and there will be small prize for the winners.

Friday 13 November will be Crazy Hair Day – we can’t wait to see your creations!

Please bear in mind that we are collecting children’s sportswear and equipment for The Children’s Society, and children’s winter coats for those in need in Birmingham, all of which can be brought in to school on the morning of Friday 13 November.

Raising money for the NHS

Lucy & Lottie made bracelets, fans & toy monsters which they sold outside their house, and donated all the money they raised to the NHS.

Also during lockdown, Darcy in Year 6 was able to get hold of flour, and used it to baked cakes which she sold to friends & neighbours, and through Facebook. Having seen how the amazing teams at Warwick Hospital cared for a family friend with Covid, Darcy wanted to give something back to the NHS. She raised a staggering £1,125, and has also earned herself a Warwick Prep Charity Champion badge. Well done, Darcy!
