Year 4 Flour Friends

The Year 4 girls had a super time taking part in their Skills for Life Project Fortnight, "Flour Friends"!

Year 4 had to take care of a bag of flour for two weeks, ensuring that they weighed the same at the end of the fortnight. The flour friends were mostly transformed into "flour babies" and were brought into school in prams and baby carriers. They were given names, dressed up and taken to; school, restaurants, horse riding, swimming lessons and dance classes, to name but a few.  At the end of the project, the girls presented their diaries or presentations to the class and clearly explained how they used their Skills for Life to take care of the flour friends.

The teachers have been told by the girls that some of the flour friends are going to transformed into cakes, pancakes and biscuits during half term!
