Year 6 National Space Centre Trip

The Year 6 girls went on an intergalactic trip to the National Space Centre in Leicester earlier this term.

The facilities were remarkable, filled with meteorites, satellites and space suits, and included the spectacular Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium, the UK’s largest, as well as a 144 step hike to the summit of the 42m high Rocket Tower. Being immersed in the 360° full dome planetarium show, "We are Astronomers", however, was a treat not to be missed.
