For many children, life at Warwick Prep begins in our purpose-built Nursery. At Warwick Prep, we make big feel small. We have three Nursery classes and four classes in each Pre-Prep year, which are kept to a maximum of 20 children each. This is so we can get to know each child and support all their individual needs.

The Squirrels offers a rich, stimulating and secure learning environment, both indoors and outdoors, which encourages children’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm. Our vision is for each child to be the best that they can be, to become happy, confident learners, keen to explore and try out new things.

An Enriched World of Learning

When your child joins Squirrels they become a part of a much wider community as well. Situated on the leafy, green, Warwick Schools Foundation campus, we have access to exceptional shared facilities. At Squirrels, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which is supplemented with our enhanced provision in music, sport and the outdoor curriculum, thanks to our fantastic specialist teachers and our fabulous facilities.

Each of our three small classes have a dedicated and vibrant space where your child will begin and end their day,  with experienced Early Years staff and a fully qualified teacher. Our children also make use of the Library, Music School and specialist Music lessons, as well as the School Hall, Dining Room and Sports Centre. Our 60-acre site offers endless possibilities for our little explorers' adventures!

We also take enriching trips to the School Chapel and Library, and enjoy seasonal walks around the main campus, as well as off-site trips to Warwick Arts Centre. This helps our children enhance their curiosity, explore all their senses and learn about the world around them. Educational visitors regularly visit as well, providing inspiration for innovative music and movement events in the School Hall, which parents are also invited to experience.
