Warwick Schools Foundation Launches New Summer Orchestra Course for Young Musicians

Warwick Schools Foundation is set to welcome talented and aspiring musicians aged 7 to 16 from across the region to its newly announced Orchestra Course this summer.

The course will run over a total of four days with two separate groups.

Beginner musicians: Tuesday, 28 and Wednesday 29 July.

Intermediate musicians: Thursday, 30 and Friday 31 July.

Designed for boys and girls eager to elevate their musical abilities, the course will offer two tailored streams to support both beginner and intermediate instrumentalists. Organisers say the programme aims to help young musicians develop new skills and techniques under the guidance of expert teaching staff, while also building confidence through ensemble performance.

Participants will have the opportunity to rehearse and collaborate with like-minded peers before showcasing their progress in a pupil-led concert at the end of the course. The Foundation says the experience will not only enhance technical ability but also foster teamwork and performance confidence.

Parents who book a place will be contacted with further details to confirm arrangements. Additional information is expected to be released in the coming weeks, with families encouraged to consult the Foundation’s FAQs section in the meantime.
