Supporting Red Nose Day

This year, for Red Nose Day, Comic Relief encouraged the nation to come together to make a difference through simple acts of silliness.
Pupils were invited to be sponsored for writing a story about helping someone in their community, telling jokes every day for a week or performing an act of kindness each day.
- Jasper, in The Squirrels Nursery, baked 'Red Nose' cakes
- Anna-Sophia, in Reception, distributed presents and toys to children in need in Bogota City, Columbia
- Joshua, in Reception, and his sister Francesca, in Year 3, made brown super cupcakes to raise money
- Reyan, in Year 2, and his brother raised over £130 by cycling ten laps around Warwick Gates
- Thea, in Year 3, baked forty 'Red Nose' cookies for the charity Helping Hands and raised £30 in sponsorship

We also celebrated Red Nose Day with a ‘Design Your Own Red Nose’ activity and a non-uniform day when pupils were encouraged to wear as much red as possible! We raised an impressive £1495.19.
