The pupils discovered imaginative contemporary sculptures, positioned to interact with nature and encourage new ways of seeing the environment around them.

Inside the galleries, the girls also visited the Folk Art Collection, which showcases one of the largest collections of British folk art in the UK. They explored a range of objects made for everyday life, including trade signs and handmade items, which offered insight into the lives of people from the past. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for the girls to develop their observational skills and gather ideas for their own artistic work.
