A Term of Exploring
The Nursery children have had a very busy term, as they continued to make good use of their new playground. They have been exploring the musical instruments outdoors and love playing on the climbing frame.

Reception had a busy start to the term learning about ‘Space’! The children enjoyed sharing stories about space; learning about real-life astronauts including Tim Peake and Neil Armstrong and creating their own rockets and space stations either at school or at home. Reception listened to music from ‘The Planet Suite’ by Gustav Holst and drew or painted their own planets.
The teachers in Year 2 have been thrilled to be back in school with the children. They have settled back into their routines and friendships very well and it has been a real joy to see!
Year 5 have been working incredibly hard this term at home and upon their return to school. Both the children and staff were so delighted to be back together in the classroom.
In Computing lessons over lockdown and since our return to school the children have been focusing on a range of different topics.
After an unusual start to the Spring Term for Year 1, we have been so proud of the many Skills for Life the children have developed during ‘Lockdown Learning’. The children have demonstrated many examples of independence, resilience, communication, empathy and resilience.
This term has all been about ‘Girl Power’ for Year 6! Through many of the different subjects the girls have been finding out about many inspirational women.
We are so pleased to be hearing the sounds of live music around the Music School once again, and all agree that you can’t beat live music making.
Even in these strange times our children at Warwick Prep have been participating in an array of sport.
Cyber Cyril has been enjoying a lot more screen time over the last year of lockdowns, and not just for school work.
We have thoroughly enjoyed supporting Red Nose Day, raising a fantastic total £1,277 for Comic Relief.
