This week we have taken part in National Anti Bullying Week, where the theme has been “United Against Bullying”.
With Raspberry Pi’s launch of the new Raspberry Pi 400 (the computer in a keyboard) Cyber Cyril has been getting his Christmas list prepared and along with checking the PEGI ratings on games and apps has been looking into some cool Christmas toys! What has really got him excited is the range of choice out there encouraging all the problem solving and critical thinking skills that are so important in all subjects.
Well done to everyone who took part in the Children in Need Art Competition and designed a friend for Pudsey and Rosie Bear, raising £118.30 for Children in Need.
This week, Warwick Prep pupils have enjoyed being challenged by a variety of mathematical learning experiences as part of Maths Week England, alongside 662042 other mathematicians from England and beyond. Designed to foster curiosity and provide young people with a positive image of maths, Maths Week England is only in its second year and has already engaged a staggering number of young people.
Thank you to everyone who donated money on the last day before half term. It is touching to see that even in these times of uncertainty for all of us, our school community continues to support those in need; we raised £765.50 for Show Racism the Red card. The pupils looked fabulous in red!

All pupils are invited to draw a friend for Pudsey Bear. Mrs Hemming will be judging the competition and selecting a winner in each year group. Please ensure that all entries have your child’s name and form clearly marked on the back and return them to school by Friday 6 November, in a sealed envelope, including £1.00 entrance fee. All the money will be donated to Children in Need, and there will be small prize for the winners.
