At Home for Your House!

For our next event, we are challenging each house to raise as much money as possible for their chosen charity throughout the month of June. Our house Captains & Vice Captains have selected the following causes to support

Beaumont – Warwick Cancer Research Centre, Warwick University (a local charity)

Rich – NSPCC (a national charity)

Greville – Save The Children (an international charity)

Dudley  - RSPCA (an animal charity)

With the focus being on ‘houses’ we would like pupils to raise money by helping at home. We are asking you to pay or sponsor your children to carry out tasks around the home (over and above any regular responsibilities they may have), but with the money going to the charities rather than to the children. Perhaps washing the car, weeding the vegetable patch or keeping their bedroom tidy for a week could earn a contribution to their house charity. Our hope is that pupils will see that the effort and time they give will help others.

As you will see there is the option for you to make a donation online (simply click on the house name); if you prefer to send cash please put it in a sealed envelope with your child’s name & form clearly marked so that we can allocate it to the correct house. We will have totaliser boards displayed in school which will be updated regularly throughout June, so that all pupils can see how their house is progressing. We would love to hear about what your child is doing at home to help and we will display any photos you send in, which may also motivate others! The house that raises the most money will be rewarded with extra playtime at the end of term.

Thank you for your generous support of all our fundraising activities.
